Another trip to Las Vegas

In November I took (another) trip to my favourite city, to visit my best friend - and of course have a little fun. I relaxed the diet reins, packed my fave clothes and got to work!
We stayed at The Flamingo Hotel, on a recommendation, but I have to say I'd never stay there again. I've stayed in some beautiful hotels before - not always expensive and this was definitely the most budget.  Completely central if you need a great location, but seriously basic rooms which was a bit of a shame.  We paid a great price though, so had more dollars left over for drinks.

I ate my first ever Mexican food - spicy but nice at a restaurant downtown. I felt very brave.

Not forgetting a few Showboy Bakeshop cupcakes (best in LV for sure)

We went to see Celine Dion in concert which was fantastic - followed by a meal at my old pal, The Cheesecake Factory. Chicken Potstickers are a yummy treat...

We had cocktails at The Cosmopolitan which is my favourite hotel, a white cosmo for afternoon drinking is a must! Followed by dinner at Gordon Ramsey's Burgr, which was nice, but nothing too special.
We spent a couple of hours that evening seeing how the other half live at XS in the Encore, it was such a beautiful club - the doors behind the DJ opened onto the pool which was pretty spectacular- but definitely not a budget evening....Luckily we got free entry and even free drinks (there are some perks to being a girl) but next time, I'd like to get bottle service and really go for it.

We spent a lovely afternoon Downtown, after a trip to the Neon Museum  (a separate post coming on that!) where I treated myself and the gang to deep fried Oreos from The Mermaid casino and a grilled cheese sandwich with soup - which I'd been craving for ages!

I had two new outfits for my trip - a playsuit from and a tunic top (which I wore as a dress) from Next.  It felt lovely to not feel self conscious posing - and I didn't even need the camera held up to the sky to eliminate my double chin.  Although, could my fringe be any wonkier?? This is what happens when you trim it yourself!

Another fabulous trip over, I am already planning my return.
